Dr. Daniel Cuervo-Zanatta was awarded one of the 18 grants (out of about 900 applicants) provided in 2024 by the Secretary of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation of Mexico City (SECTEI) as part of its annual call for postdoctoral stays in academic or research institutions abroad with international recognition.

During his fellowship, Daniel will develop the project entitled "The role of microbial bioproducts against intracerebral hemorrhage" at the University of Vienna under the mentorship of Ass.-Prof. Dr. Marietta Zille.
